Environmental Champions Workshop, BBC
Like many organisations, the BBC has appointed environmental champions throughout the organisation to help spread the sustainability message. As part of a sustainable broadcasting day, Terra Infirma was commissioned to upskill those champions to enable them to carry out their role more effectively.
Terra Infirma developed a bespoke 1 hour workshop for those champions to train them in culture change techniques. The session covered three aspects – providing information, engaging emotionally with individuals and shaping the work environment to promote ‘good’ behaviour. In the half hour exercise, delegates generated over 100 ideas that they could implement within the corporation
