The scale of Sustainability risks and opportunities mean that an environmental management system is wholly inadequate for the twenty-first century; a Sustainability strategy is now essential for all but the smallest organisations.
We start off the Strategy development process by helping our clients work out the business case for Sustainability as it applies to their organisation. By building the strategy on this foundation, Sustainability and business interests are aligned so the Sustainability strategy works for the business and not against it.
Once the business case has been established, we help our clients develop the strategy itself via a series of workshops with key decision-makers. This collaborative approach ensures the alignment with business interests continues and makes sure those decision-makers own the strategy from the start, accelerating the implementation process.
Once the strategy has been signed off by the client’s leadership we can help with the roll-out. We work with key people in each division to cascade the top level requirements down through the reporting structure. This cements the strategy into the DNA of the organisation.
