Who says you can’t put a heat pump in a 16th Century farmhouse? with Alex Hilton
I like people who do what ‘everybody’ says cannot be done. In this episode of the pod, Alex Hilton describes how he completely electrified his Grade II listed, 16th Century farmhouse – I mean you really couldn’t take on a task harder than that. Unsurprisingly, Alex has worked in Sustainability for many years, so we start by exploring his varied career from falling into a green job almost by chance up to his current role as Director of Policy and Public Affairs at Beyondly, an environmental compliance and consultancy business.
During the discussion, I refer to the episode on Zero Bills Homes with Emma Fletcher of Octopus. – which also fits into the “you did what?!” category.
