Back in the mists of time, I bumped into Paula Owen at an event. She gave me a deck of playing cards designed to encourage people to investigate energy savings based on the kids’ favourite Top Trumps. It was the first time I had come across ‘gamification’ as a way of engaging people in Sustainability and it has since risen in popularity. So I invited Paula to join me on the Net Zero Business Podcast for a discussion on gamification, why it works, what the first rule of gamification is, the tension between gravity and fun (Paula’s PhD is in climate science) and becoming a B Corp.
