The Guardian’s Fiona Harvey on Labour’s first three months in (clean) power, international climate politics and COP29
This week on the podcast, I have a real treat for you. I caught up with my old friend Fiona Harvey, multi-award-winning Environment Editor at the Guardian fresh from this year’s Labour Party Conference. We discuss how Labour has progressed on its clean power/green growth pledges since the General Election in July. The conversation broadens to international politics which leads us neatly to preview COP29 UN climate conference in November. Fiona has been to more COPs than anyone else I know and explains everything from the big issue this year, through why Copenhagen wasn’t the disaster everybody says it was, to which delegation is likely to be best-dressed. I guarantee you will come away from this episode better informed than when you started!
